This Privacy Policy applies to the BeatCut mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

BeatCut is designed with user privacy as a top priority. The App functions primarily as an offline video editing and beat synchronization tool.

• Photos and Videos: The App requires access to the photos and videos you explicitly choose to include in your video clips. All processing, editing, and rendering are performed locally on your device. We do not transmit, store, or sell your personal photos or videos to any remote servers.
• Audio and Music: The App accesses user-selected audio files solely to analyze beat markers, edit durations, and sync them with your media. Audio analysis is computed entirely on-device.
• Network Access: The App uses Internet connectivity solely when you voluntarily request to download audio or media via a URL provided by you. No personal identification data is collected during this process.

2. Data Storage and Third Parties

We do not collect personal data, account credentials, or location data. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising SDKs that harvest user information. Your rendered videos remain solely in your device storage or cache until you choose to export or delete them.

3. Permissions Used

• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / READ_MEDIA_AUDIO: Required exclusively to allow you to select media for project creation.
• INTERNET: Required solely for retrieving user-requested online media via direct links.

4. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
